Our Hard Apple Cider is dryer than most. It's a great choice when the goal of the beverage is not to overpower the entrée. An excellent choice with lighter meals such as chicken, seafood, salads and brunch. A "sophisticated everyday drink".

since the description mentions it, Fox Barrel is a good foodie drink. not the first thing i'd reach for in winter, or by itself, but there's a decent crisp apple aroma and flavor here. not bad, though i prefer the pear.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is apples, some vinegar and mild tartness. Flavour is sweet rotten apples along with some tartness and mild cinegary notes. Gets rather sugary when it warms up.

A pale yellow colored cider. I don’t see a whole lotta bubbles in this one. Even trying to agitate the glass doesn’t do anything for the bubble effect. There’s no head on pour. The aroma is apples, some tartness, but not like I’ve had in others of this genre. The body is light. Not much else going on. The taste is sweet, sweet apples.

While I normally don't imbibe on cider, I couldn't pass this up since it's made about an hour or so north of me. The aroma was lightly citrus, some acidity going on, subtle apple aroma. Appearance was really light yellow with an almost greenish tint to it. Mouthfeel was minerally, but not harsh in any way. Flavor was pretty damned balanced, not overly sweet nor overly dry. It had some apple character, subtle citrus, champagne-like character with some slight mustiness. Nice for a cider.
