With their bright lights, and vintage stylings, diners are all-American staples. Of course, New York City has no shortage of 24-hour diners for its nocturnal inhabitants. Why? Because sometimes you just need a slice of cheesecake at 3 AM. Midnight Diner appears dark and roasty like a diner cup of joe, belying the same comforting sweetness, citrus and vanilla notes as that first bite of cheesecake.

Dec. 2020: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of cheesecake (yes, really), some vinous notes too. Flavour of roast malts, mild coffee, cheesecake, cherry jelly.
