Bending tradition has always been a guiding force for my brewing, and this beer is no exception. A combination of old world grain and new world style offers a nutty flavor with the fresh aroma of hops. Happy Brewing, Prost!

22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a medium frothy off-white head that retains fairly well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet crystal malts and toffee with some leathery rye and a little fruit.
The flavor is sweet sugary dark fruits and toffee malts with some leather / cardboard notes. There is a little rye hoppiness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, I was expecting an amped up Hop Rod Rye, but this is way overly sweet with strange leathery rye and not much hop coming through other than some generic bitterness in the finish.
