Föroya Bjór Black Sheep premium dark lager is an excellent beer with a great taste, brewed by Föroya Bjór, a Faroese family owned brewery founded in 1888. The Black Sheep from Föroya Bjór is a beer of th very best quality. The islanders may have a fishy economy but the Faroese beer is second to none. The brewery has always had a ram in its logo.

On tap at Hotel Føroyar, Torshavn. Beautiful chestnut colour, moderate off-white head, some lacing. Moderate but nice aroma of malts and caramel. Flavour of caramel and diacetyl, but not too sweet, with the "house character" metallic and slightly sourish finish.

Amber colour, mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is a lot of malts along with some dark dry fruit and dark berries. Flavour is caramel malts, fruity hops and some grassy notes. Long caramel malts and slight dark berries in aftertaste.
