Formosa Light pours a pale golden colour and has a subtle, malty aroma. Light citrus notes make it very refreshing on the palate, with a clean and crisp finish.

Pours a light gold with a 1 finger cap that has moderate retention and light lacing. Well carbonated. Aromas of boiled grains, slight sourness ( from real lager yeast) and some grassy smells Medium-light body, thin, sandy mouthfeel. Light malts up front become balanced by a light lemony decernment from the hops. Clean finish with light bready tones and a final hop dryness. A pleasant all-malt light beer with a flavor profile approximating a light edelhell. A premium light beer.

Came in a 15-pack. Poured a very pale yellow with a small white head, with hardly any retention and no lacing. The chemical nose turns into corn after a while. Also starts off with bigger bubble carbonation with patches of bubbles stuck to the side of the glass. The mouth is corny, but has this barfy side-order of raw sewage mixed in with yucky cabbage. Much, much better from the bottle... but stay with the normal Formosa if you want swill. And if you want a better light beer from the same brewer, stick to Laker Premium Light.

The first of 3 "light" beers I plan on trying. Wow. I must say impressed, although I had a feeling that for a light beer this would be good seeing as it's one of those so-called "draft" beers, which just means unfiltered. And it was good. Better than I expected really. A great aroma right when nosed from the bottle(the 10 rating is for this as this is abeer that should only be drank right from the bottle, just like all swill. Out of the glass it's very sour and would rate a 2) gives way to a beer that actually has taste - a true light version of the regular Formosa. It has a poor appearance however. Again though, no real reason to pour this into a glass except to get your appearance rating. It came in a 15 pack and for the value I may just buy this again.
