This light, refreshing American Wheat beer is a completely different take on a wheat beer. Tropical fruit in the nose and flavour pair perfectly with the slight tartness from the rhubarb. This is one smooth and quaffable beer!

Huge overspill with lots of waste and a dirty mess to pick up. Damn!! Cloudy golden-yellow colour with some small yeast residue in the bottom. The head is huge (of course), foamy, soapy, long lasting with decent lace. Citrus and yeasty aromas with some light sourness. The rhubarb shows up a little, but very mild in the taste. Mostly with light tartiness. Quaffable and refreshing. Just wish it would not explode at opening.

Pours a large foamy/bubbly white head and has a hazy golden orangey appearance. Ok lacing. Aromas are citrusy notes, lime, and a bit of spices. Flavours are also citrus, lime and light sourness. Quite wheaty as well. A bit of yeast comes out in the finish, as well as a bit of tartiness. The rhubarb could be there, but seems a tad hard to distinguish with huge citrus notes. Lots of carbonation. Good retention. Has a slick and slightly astringent mouthfeel. Not bad.

The beer pours a clouded pale yellow colour with a 1" snow white head. The aroma is wheat, citrus, rhubarb, and yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is wheat, grains, and yeast with hints of citrus. While I can smell the rhubarb, I can't find it in the flavour......and I love rhubarb. The weakest Forked River brew for me so far.
