Dominated by hop aroma and flavor, but not overall bitterness, the relatively new style of New England IPA has fast become a favourite among beer fans. Juicy is probably the most common descriptor, and Curses! more than lives up to it. A strong orange flavour controls your first sips, followed by an intense grapefruit and other citrus aftertaste in a medium body base. By eschewing the bittering hops and focusing on the tail end of the boil and in dry-hopping, and also by using the Vermont Ale yeast, Curses! yields all those wonderful tropical sensations. This is our first ever beer that utilises Azacca and Mandarina Bavaria hops, and also has El Dorado as a dry-hop. Smooth, hazy, and most of all fruity, Curses! is an amazing example of the NEIPA style and a must try beer. Fans of Dreamworld, Snowblind, and Knockout Punch will be right at home with a glass of Curses!
