Instructions from the manual could not have been much more plain: a complex malt character, continental-style hops, an amber hue, and brewed with classic European lager yeast—the Vienna Lager is the ideal brew for Oktoberfest and the newly arrived fall weather. Locally grown hops by VQH farms help to give this autumn lager a crisp lager, while the light residual sweetness and medium body makes this the logical follow-up to Hanz and Franz, our German Pilsner. And, how could we pass up a chance to reference one of our favourite bands again? It's not springtime, so we have to alter the Tragically Hips' 1996's Trouble at the Henhouse track to "Autumn in Vienna".
