Bittered with Columbus hop, flavoured with Chinook and Cascade along with late boil additions, it was dry hopped with Amarillo and Centennial. 76 calculated IBUs and 6.0% ABV. A big hoppy beer with lots of various background hop flavors. The story: At the beginning of my brew session a few weeks back, one of the circuit breakers kept tripping in my electric brew panel causing a "quarrel" of sorts between me and the panel. After two and a half hours of troubleshooting, I finally found a short in the electrical heating element, which I then replaced. Having lost the better part of the day, I decided to change my brewing plans and did a one-off IPA recipe. A friend suggested to name the beer "Lovers Quarrel IPA" after hearing of the ordeal.
