This is not your typical Oatmeal Stout. For one thing, this brew had sort of a light shade of brown color to it, not the usual thick dark black hue that most stouts possess. The head was thin and melted rapidly. The odors and tastes of this stout were that of butterscotch and cream soda. It was very smooth on the tongue with some caramel overtones to it. The finish is very light and powdery. It's a very good tasting stout, but don't be surprised at it's appearance when you first see it!
