Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep copper body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up malts, a bit of a candied fruity maltiness and just faint earthy tea like hoppiness in the background. The taste delivers similar notes with malts and some candied fruity ester maltiness flowing into vague and modestly strong bitter hoppiness. The hops form an earthy tea slightly spicy like hop bitterness midway and into the finish. Drinks good.
