20oz glass at the brewpub. Pours a very small foamy off-white head with thick soapy lace and has an amber appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of earthy hops and mild toasted malts, hints of caramel. Flavours are mostly roasted malt, caramel, earthy hops, light smokey hints. Nice mild bitterness on the palate with a little bit of sweetness in the finish. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Goes down nicely.

Originally rated October 2020. Clean amber colour with a big frothy off-white, light-beige head, good retention and leaving creamy lacing traces. Cereal grain malt nose with light caramel notes and hops. Mild caramel malt base with good hops cutting the sweetness. A fairly dry mouthfeel in the finish. Quite a well-balanced malty caramel, grainy brew with some nice light spicy hops in the end.
