Our house I.P.A. is an American version using large amounts of Cascade hops in the kettle and the conditioning tank. This brew is pale in color with a huge, crisp bitterness, and big citrus nose.

A damn fine effort from Flat Branch. Excellent blending of American and British takes on the style. Drank greedily from a growler after a catastrophic day to lighten my mood, and did it ever. A solid base and crystal malt backbone with loads of American hops (somehow used to British effect) mostly for flavor and less for aroma than usual, creating a nicely bitter and a very juicy hop presence. The caramel malt was amped up by loads of resiny citrus. What a delicious late summer treat.
