The name “Spirito Santo” pays homage to the original name given to the Tampa Bay by the first Spanish explorers, Baya de Spirito Santo. This is a massively citrus hop-forward, moderately bitter IPA. It’s juicy and balanced, without the intense bitterness that is typical in modern West Coast IPAs. Florida is obviously known for its citrus, so it’s only natural that citrus character be highlighted in an IPA. To amplify the citrus aroma and flavor, orange and grapefruit zest are added to enhance the citrus hop notes
