PA with fresh Strata hops from Crosby Hop Farm. Also brewed with all Southeastern-grow Carolina Gold 2-Row & Riverbend Dark Munich. We ordered 40 pounds of fresh Strata hops from Crosby Hop Farm in Oregon that were picked on Thursday, Sept. 1 st. They overnighted them to us so we could brew with them on Friday, Sept. 2nd! For those of you who had the original Casual Peyote, which was a combination of Strata and Amarillo hops, this version is the same base beer recipe. We decided to only use the Strata to showcase the fresh hops. The hops express themselves differently in this batch and taste super-fresh, with notes of juicy fruit and tangerine. It also isn't super-bitter, rather maintains a balanced quality. This is a truly unique opportunity and it's not getting fresher, so please enjoy soon!
