Humble Brown Ale mixes traditional with contemporary, combining the intense brown malts from the 1700s with the delicate touch of caramel and chocolate malts from recent years. This medium-bodied brew tastes strongly of chocolate and toffee, with hints of caramel and coffee lurking in the background. Humble’s balance tilts toward the malt, with the hops providing just enough backing bitterness to cut the sweetness from the caramel malts

Taps translucent chocolate with a good buff head. Aroma delivers cinnamon, roast malt, clove and subtle caramel. Flavor presents toasty malt, cinnamon, caramel and chocolate. Texture gives fair body and perky fizz. Humble is good.
