The lightest of FiftyFifty's ales, Base Camp is a thirst quenching delight. Pale straw to light gold in color, this beer has a mild malt flavor combined with light bitterness and hop flavor. This beer finishes dry and is very light and refreshing on the palate. Base Camp is a "session beer", meaning you can easily toss back a few in one sitting. So go ahead, pull up a chair and camp out for awhile

The lightest of the ales of my flight of beers at the brewery tap. Pale golden colour, white head, nice lacing. Moderately citrussy in aroma and flavour, light bodied and refreshing as expected, not very exciting, but still with enough hops to make you want to finish the glass.

On tap at brew-pub. Body is straw gold in color with a smaller 1/2" white cap. Aroma was lightly grassy, soft toasted malts which provided some nice sweetness to balance the grassy hops. Flavor had some bready/biscuity malts, easy bitter hops and a crisp, clean finish.

yet another nondescript golden ale added to the database for the non-craft beer drinking masses. pretty simple across the board. nothing bad but quite boring. not a lot going on...balanced sweetish fruity malt and a touch of hops. 15 ibu, 4.2%.
