if only they used JD Single Barrel. I'm not a regular Jack drinker, but this still had serious potential. Technically, i'm not a bourbon drinker easy and i love me all kinds of bourbon stouts. first whiff was lots of jack and some sweet fruit. loved it at first, but the aroma and flavor were pretty one dimensional, though nice. jack and spicy fruit, nothing else. the beer doesn't quite shine through. for the premium price, i'd probably pass in the future, though i am glad i tried it. bourbon or single barrel woulda been awesome, or a half and hlaf barreled blend.
