32oz crowler, filled at the Berkeley location, pours with a near clear gold body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangerine, peach, mango, a good dose of pineapple and some cantaloupe. The taste delivers juicy mango, pineapple, pink grapefruit, oddly ripened tangerine and then some cantaloupe. To midway mild malts are noticed as well as strawberry and peach. Man this has a lot of fruity juiciness going on and indeed seems even over ripe. Beneath all of that is a grapefruit and citrus zest like hop bitterness that struggles to keep the juicy notes in check. Interesting offering to be sure.
