I drank this back when I was teenager. I remember it as being bad tasting but thought the name was cool. I haven't seen it for sale in thirty years but would like to taste it again. Just to see if still has the puzzles on the bottle caps.

This was my special cheap beer during my collage days, (when i had the extra .50 cents to spend on a 12 pack). It poured a pale yellow with a ok white head that quickly disappeared. The taste was slightly less water then other cheap beers, but it had to be drank ice cold. After 4 or 5 the taste wasn't so bad.

This was one of my go to beers in Chicago in the 80s. There is absolutely nothing special about it, and I haven't tried it in a few years. Your typical pale lager, clear yellow in colour with a white head. Lots of grass, metal, vomit, and acid in the aroma.......and the flavour is wet stale vegetables. Hard to believe that at one time, these were go to beers.

This quite possibly a hidden gem. One needs to go all the way to Detroit to get this baby! Colour - clkear medium gold. Aroma - malty. Mouthfeel - medium. Flavour - malty, slightly metallic. Overall - a fine beer.

I guess this beer is the worst I've tasted. Has the worst flavor from what I can remember. I think corona is just a tad worse than this crap. Do they still even brew this anymore? Haven't seen it around as much.

Been a long time since I've had this beer. I really do'nt recall all that well as far as appearance and aroma. But I remember a bitter taste after swallowing it. My pap used to drink these but I really do'nt know why (cheap I guess). Anyway I wish I could find a six pack of these around here now. I'd just like to drink a few and think about the old days.

There's just a little bit of nostalgia associate dwith this beer for me. Sneaking sips from my Pop's can while he worked the grill on weekends and stuff. For some reason he was always a High Life man, but occassionally, he'd have a Falstaff. Yeah, it's not very good.

There is nothing good to say about this "beer." I have made some mistakes in life and drinking this was one of them. I will not make the same mistake twice. I just don't get that desperate for a beer to drink this crap. This is a brew for the mainstream drunks that lie in the gutter.

This was my grandfathers favorite beer so, I tried it. Never, never, never again. This stuff is rancid. It might be good for cooking but I doubt it. All I can remember is a very metallic taste and an after taste that tasted like a broccoli fart. I stated earlier that Black Label is the worst beer I have ever tasted, but I take that back. Falstaff is awful. Supposedly Falstaff bought the recipe for Lemp beer in the 30's or 40's and supposedly Lion Brewery aquired the recipe for Lemp beer a couple of years ago. One or both of the recipes can't be the same because I love the new Lemp beer and Falstaff revolts me.
