The beer poured a hazed light amber colour with a 3cm thick snow white head. The aroma was citrusy hops, mild tropical fruit notes, cereal grains, and pine needles. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was very citrusy, reminiscent of the old style DIPAs before the tropical hop craze kicked in. Also had flavours of weak yeast and grass. It wasn’t as bitter as I would have hoped for, but the thought was there.

Had this at the boring, no character bar in NOTL. Beer should be better for the price. Needs to be better for the style. Bottle better than the contents. Having said that, it's ok but a little rough. Rusty orange peel and green leaves dominate the flavour. The aroma is similar but with some malt sweetness. Looks are presentable. Thinner body for the style. Stainless steel bar with a plastic atmosphere and big headed clientele need to be roughed up a bit.
