An alien-like outsider, always flirting with oddity and exploring anxiety and paranoia. A style chameleon, a wonderful labyrinth and truly a transcendent genius. It’s impossible not to idolize out of proportion. This is a stout. It may not be a hero, but it’s attractive, clever and hungry for stardom.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Pours deep sable with a very thick and persistent dirty tan head. Aroma offers coffee, roast malt, licorice, and shy chocolate and molasses notes. Flavor continues the coffee and roast malt, ups the chocolate, and downplays the molasses and licorice tones - delicious no matter what. Firm, smooth texture brings decent fizz. No hero? Real heroes always claim they are no heroes.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Pours black with a frothy tan head decent retention and lacing. Roasted malt aroma, not much else. Flavour of roasted malt , chocolate, coffee, mild licorice and mild ash. Medium mouthfeel with a dry slightly bitter finish. Very flavorful although not as much as most Evil Twin stouts.
