Double Dry Hopped Hazy Cosmic Daydream is a Hazy IPA also known as a New England IPA (NEIPA) wherein the style became popular. Since their inception, the “Haze Craze” has swept across the US to the point where there are some breweries who produce nothing but this style. The haze comes from protein aggregates which would typically be removed during the fining process of a non-hazy beer. The addition of cereal grains (wheat, oats) in the mash increases this haze effect. The aroma on this double dry hopped Hazy IPA is intense, which includes notes of tropical citrus, grapefruit, orange juice, lime zest, cannabis, rose, pine resin and a hint of bubblegum. Hops used in the boil were Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy and Sabro. The first dry hop includes Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy. The second dry hopconsists of Citra, Wai-iti and Galaxy hops for a massive one-two hop punch.
