1911 is this year’s International Women’s Day featured beer. The Ladies of Eventide brew a beer every year on International Women’s Day in March to highlight the talented women we have in management, production and front of house. This year, we partnered with The Pink Boots Society whose mission it is to “assist, inspire and encourage women brewing professionals through education.” The Society offered a special hop blend curated by the women of Pink Boots which includes the hop varieties Cashmere, Ahtanum, Citra, Loral and Sabro which givenotes of citrus, herbs, tropical fruits and woodiness. The style of beer chosen by Eventide to showcase the Pink Boots hop blend is a white IPA which is a hybrid of a Belgian Wit (wheat) beer and an American IPA. It is bitter and hoppy like the American IPA but fruity, spicy and easy drinking like a Wit.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Taps clear topaz with a fair eggshell head. Aroma gives dank and resiny hops, raw malt, tangy citrus. Flavor provides dank, bitter piney hops plus tart, zesty orange and grapefruit and fresh malt. Texture offers fairly firm body and lively fizz. Gonna go back in time.
