Pours an almost black colour with little highlights. The creamy-frothy head is mocha-coloured with good retention and creamy lacing. Roasted malt nose with some chocolate and coffee notes. Mildly oily mouthfeel and not heavy at all. Nicely blended roasted malts with the coffee and light grassy hops. Pretty decent milk stout that is easy to drink.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours very little head and has an extremely murky brown appearance. Weak lacing. Excessive carbonation. Aromas of coffee, cocoa and notes of chocolate. Flavours are mostly coffee at the forefront, with some subtle notes of chocolate, roasted malts. A little bit of a watery mouthfeel. Not as heavy as expected. Drinks quite easily.
