Black coffee color with a very dense, short cap. Aroma of sweet char and wood, the flavor follows suit. Velvety feel but kind of thin for such a sweet flavored stout; leaves a coat on my tongue. Sounds like it was better when other reviewers tried it.

Pours a dark brown with a little white head that dissipates quickly. You see light through it. You can tell the sweetness from the oat right away, along with coffee, toffee, and chocolate. taste is somewhat dry and very sweet from the oatmeal. Also hints of coffee in the taste as well. Finishes off dry and a little taste stays around along with a little fizz. A tad watered down and almost should be more viscous. Overall a nice oatmeal stout.

Rich, smoky aroma has a strong chocolate note and tones of coffee and molasses. It pours a deep, warm sable with a respectable tan head. Mouth-filling flavor has firm notes of roast malt, coffee, sweet chocolate and molasses with licorice and nutty hints. Smooth texture has good firmness and fizz, and leaves an earthy finish with traces of mocha. Look for this one!
