Medium brown color. Small head. Aroma is amazing spicy and malty and perfumey. Malty and slightly sweet. Carmel and toffee. Very spicy. Nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and others. A milder flavored ale. Very drinkable but it does NOT live up to its wonderful nose. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This is absolutely fantastic. At 7%ABV I expected it to be sweet but this was balanced. With roasted malt and spices this has a definitely smokey flavor. I think it's a shame that this only comes out seasonally. I had 2 large(22 oz.) bottles and they were consistent from start to finish.
