Had on draft @ the Ellicottville brewpub in Ellicottville, NY .. . Had as Buchanan Brown .. . deep molasses and bark .. . pours a ruby brown .. medium lacing .. nutty deep roast .. . very surprising and tasty .. . . And also, you should win things by watching.

A drinkable nut brown, but nothing that blows you away. Dark brown pour with a small off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, and nuts. Flavor is the same with the nut taste coming in at the end. Not bad.

A beer if the month club entry for April-May 2010. EBC Brown nut pours a nice red brown, with a moderately long lasting head and some lacing. Fairly pronounce aroma and nice malty flavors with heavy toasted biscuit. Mouth feel first seem a bit watery, but later on through the sip the flavors and overall drinking experience develope.
