750 ml bottle, 2014 2nd Anniversary. Pours slightly hazy copper gold with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is piney, dank, resiny hops with some garlic and onion notes and a little sweet malt in the background.
The flavor is some sweet bready malts with a lot of bitter piney, resiny hops. Again with some slight salty garlic and onion. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and a little watery.
Overall, an OK piney, resiny DIPA. It's a bit watery with some salty garlic and onion notes. -

A two finger off white head, which is sticky, has good retention, and leaves good lacing on the glass. There is a light haze in the beer, which is golden in color. The aroma is a pleasant mixture of light malts, grapefruit, and orange peel. There is also a bit of floral aroma, and some pepper hints. There is more malt balancing the hops out in the flavor (caramel and toast). The hops are also spicier and earthier, with a bit of pine, some pepper, go along with the citrus notes. A nice anniversary IIPA, well balanced and easy to drink.
