Gold Medal winner at the 1994 Great American Beer Festival for Classic English Pale Ale. And then a Bronze in 2003 for English Styled Summer Ale. This Classic English Pale Ale is delightfully refreshing medium bodied golden ale. It is moderately hopped to give the beer a smooth taste and subtle spicy/floral aroma.

Light orange color. Small head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium to full bodied pale ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Touches of vanilla and toffee. Hops are spicy and a touch citrusy. Kind of more in the English style of Pale Ale. Perhaps a little thin tasting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
