Ecliptic is about space, and asteroids are stones, so the name White Asteroid ties the collaboration together. Pale and wheat malts combine for a solid malt profile. Motueka hops were used for their citrus character. These combine with the sweet orange peel and coriander to lend a big rich fruity character. The Belgian yeast lends a spiciness, and dry hopping during aging make a very drinkable beer with the bitter finish of an IPA.

Poured as part of a flight at Ecliptic - didn't know til after it was a Stone beer. Should have, as it stood out amongst some good but not great beers. The easy winner...big citrus on the nose and flavor. Body and abv don't bely a double but definitely tell you it's a White IPA and not a hoppy wit. Great beer.
