The earliest documented evidence of the East End Brewing’s East End Witte dates all the way back to November of 2004, much like the brewery itself. Classically styled, this Belgian “white beer” is layered with week upon week of long standing brewing tradition, history, experience, and craftsmanship - brought to you, fresh from the brewery by the brewer himself. (No, he’s not your server, but he was definitely in here recently with a keg.) Taste the new tradition for yourself.

On tap at the Bocktown, such a great place! Smells like the lemon scented fruit erasers we used to get in art class! Hints of sourness and lemon grass are also in the aroma, very interesting. Gorgeous hazy wheat or wit appearance, the only thing missing is the muck on the bottom of the bottle, but this is a tap! Spicey mild initial flavor, very friendly, I really like the attitude of this brew. A great example of a wit and this is brewed right in my own back yard, forget about Europe! Gentleman mannerisms, very good tingly carbonation on the back of my throat but not excessive. Refreshingly good beer. That sour smell just keeps kicking on thru the session. I think I can now also detect some grassy of haylike smells in there to! Very enjoyable and fun complexities with an evolution of flavors. I better get a growler of this stuff. Finish is pleasant and easy to like. If you enjoy wit beer you better seek this out. Great overall tasting experience, I think I’ll have another!
