Golden color with a white head. Aroma contains lemon, grassy notes, and spices. The flavor is rather sour with some lemons and bread going on. The finish is dry. Overall not complex but good and refreshing.

Pours a transparent yellow with a nice white head. Rich, malty, yeasty, slightly fruity and slightly sweet aroma is quite appetizing. Lively flavor is malty and yeasty with a citrus undertone and a hint of butterscotch. Smooth, fizzy texture leaves a fruity and slightly sweet finish.

Had a chance to try this over the summer at the KC Flying Saucer. This is a little disappointing considering how good the regular Duvel is. Not much in the way of aroma; mostly sweet malts with just a hint of hop bitterness in the taste. Definitely not worth the price for me.

Tap @ The Trappist
Aroma - crisp, floral nose, hay, spicy hops, and candy like-sweetness.
Appearance - clear bright yellow body, tons of bubbles rising up to meet a airy, 2" bright white head
Taste - pears, apples, light honey, floral/grassy hops...really nice
Palate - medium-high carbonation, tingly with a warm finish
Overall - very enjoyable Belgian ale. Seems that a pint was just about right. -

Little to no aroma, with a rocky, two-finger head and nice lacing. Light-bodied mouthfeel, with a clean, crisp, sweet malt flavor, slight hop bitterness and dry aftertaste.
