The Blanche du Hainaut biologique a top fermentation white beer with refermentation in the bottle. The mixture for this beer, organic barley and wheat malt was created in 1999. Except for the organic hop, also organic coriander and organic orange peel are added to the wort while boiling. This Blanche du Hainaut biologique is a light beer, melow with a touch a bitterness, but also very refreshing due to the fine balance between its acidity and the touch of coriander and orange.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow with sediment, the head was a thick white cream. Aroma is a citrus orange peel, hints of spice also could be smelled. Flavor is a spicy malt with suttle tastes of the citrus to break up the mediocre taste.

Opaque light yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is light citrus. Taste is wheat, some lemon notes. Not too fresh as other whites. (Utrecht 201306)

Bottle: Poured a light yellow ale with some white haze and a large pure white foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma of light orange peel with some coriander and some wheat malt. Taste is also dominated by some light coriander and some wheat malt with a bready yeast. Body is a bit thin for the style with some perfect carbonation thought. Well done but lacking some spicing and some body to be a truly great beer from one of my favorite brewery.

Very hazy dark yellow colour with a sticky white foam. Yeasty nose of wheat, white bread with lactic undertones of raspberries. Dryish, yeasty and really ctric flavour of tart red berries, cheese and grass. Dryish finish of yeast, grass, tart raspberries and white bread. This is not your ordinary witbier.

Hazy pale orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, sweet fruits and caramel. Flavour is yeast, wheat, dishwater and slight hints of honey. Acidic, but still refreshing.

cloudy dark orange colour, the initial big creamy head quickly reduces to a fine foam, wheaty and perfumy, orangezest and coriander, medium-bodied, tart and slightly acidic, dry citrusy, wheaty finish - balance and character

Bottle. Hazy yellow colour with a good sized and lasting white head. Aroma has oranges, yeast and apricots. Similar for the taste with spices, tartness and a dry bitter finish. Light bodied, fairly highly carbonated. Nice interesting Wit.
