A sheep painted red ... Cruel joke, right? Nope. Farmers in Ireland and Scotland have been painting sheep for ages—makes ’em easier to find. Thankfully, you won’t have any problem finding our new Irish Red Lager. Its malty backbone and rich, off-white head—some say it’s "cappuccino-like"—are unmistakable. Not to mention that big, beautiful color. Which, unlike the sheep, is 100% natural. (All due respect to the sheep.)

It pours a dark amber & burnt-orange with a thin white/light-tan head and copious lacing. An aroma of bready malts, orange and citrus, faint hops, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, orange and citrus, bread and yeast, tea leaves, and spices. Very good all-around.

I'm not usually a fan of Genny beers, after all, you can see the corn syrup trucks lined up for miles. The beer pours a clear dark amber colour with a pinkish 1" foamy head. Caramel malt, floral hops, and metal make up the aroma. The flavour is a bit stale...grainy, slightly sweet, with a burnt finish. Could have been a lot better.
