http://www.duesouthbrewing.com/the-beer/ This Belgian styled blonde ale comes in at 6.1% ABV. It is slightly hazy with a straw color and nice white head. The nose brings forward notes of clove and bubble gum while the taste is lightly grainy with definitive Belgian esters and some hints of banana. The body is light to medium feel and finishes crisp.

Not one of my favorites by Due South. A few of their brews I can live without, and this would be one of them. Decent summer beer with flavors of wheat, banana, and some light spices. Semi-cloudy medium yellow appearance. Think I prefer the lighter blondes, which I will be sampling their Saigon Blonde next.

This was a growler I'd picked up at the quirky due south. They make really good beers. Pours a hazy amber color with a big off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a light splotch of film aside the glass. The profile is yeasty, coriander, clove spuces and touch of banana. Light, effervescent and refreshing.
