Pours used motor oil black with a thin tan head ringlet. Aroma is roasted everything - let's call it roasted roast. Flavor is bourbon dark chocolate and coffee. Nice nice nice.

This was served on cask. Pours black with a big-bubbled head. The aroma is a bit of bourbon soaked wood with coffee and anise making up the bulk of the rest of the flavor.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Poured an opaque black color with a large tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, light bourbon, dried fruits, chocolate, macadamia nuts, vanilla, and coconuts. Taste of more roast, chocolate, smoke, vanilla, sour cherries, light bourbon, and a creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol was well covered.
