This generously hopped American Imperial IPA with a flavor all unto its own. A sweet maltiness sneaks up through a sea of citrus hop flavor, leading to a smooth lingering hop bitterness. This beer was in the top 10 beers in the 2009 Alpha King Challenge.

Sampled on 10/15/2012. This Imperial India Pale Ale pours a light yellow gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet with a whole bunch of hops, citrusy, floral and piney. A medium bodied Double India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy, herbal, piney and grapefruity. Good carbonation. Nice balance. A very crisp and clean Double IPA. Nice balance between the malts and the hops. Very nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is bitter.

this was a great palate cleanser, if you can believe .. . Pours a medium honey colour, great foam, great lacing- like flying in a cloud .. . bitter honey, resin, and spruce .. . easy to put down, unlike crack .. . would like to try more from this brewery .. . He's gotten a lot better.. - Way better.
