Inspired by the original Alt-style beer of Dusseldorf, Crooked Coast brings together the aromas of German noble hops and Munich malt. Delicate malt-hop balance is the defining trait of this quintessential session beer! FOOD PAIRINGS: •Celery, fennel, parsnips. •Bratwurst, weisswurst…yay German sausage! •A great compliment to many pork dishes.

Hmm, definatly a bias in the numbers here. Never a fan of sweet amber ales in the first place, always brings back high school memories of rickards red and sleemans honey brown. Still, an average amber, with a little charcter, decent brew with a burger.

From Firefly. Gave up a finger's worth of creamy white head to cap a beautiful amber body. Aroma was malt underpinned by some hop and floral notes. Flavour was some malt and little else. Certainly less sweet than the aroma suggested. Mouth too thin by far. Decent finish.
