Tasted at the 6th Annual Bistro Barrel Aged Beer Fest on 11/12/2011. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is oak, wood, hoppy and fruity. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nice carbonation. Good balance between the wood and hops. A touch of the Petite Syrah comes through, very nice. Mouthfeel is full and round. The finish is clean and crisp. The aftertaste is slightly bitter.
