The Jolly Roger holiday ale changes from year to year but is always highly anticipated and quickly sells out. A big, malty beer with a huge hop aroma. We mashed in with plenty of two-row barley, carared and chocolate malt for body and flavor. Then we hopped it up with Columbus for bittering, then for flavor and aroma– lots of Chinook and Cascade. Finally, we dry hopped in the fermenter with loads more Chinook and Cascade. Weighing in at 8% ABV, this beer is sure to satisfy you hop-heads and malt-lovers alikes. Make sure you reserve a keg of your own before it’s too late! Available mid- November til the New Year

What an excellent barleywine that I wish I could get my hands on more. I could drink this all night long. Very well balanced and enticing. The alcohol is very well hidden which makes this almost the closest thing to a session beer a barley wine could get to.

2004 Version Scotch Ale. Medium brown color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied scotch ale. Malts are malty, chocolately and fairly sweet. Lots of bourbon flavors as well. Hops are slightly spicy. Nicely balanced. Touches of brown sugar and molasses. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and sweet. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

sampled at RBSG 04 this pours murky brown with a malty nose. The flavor is sweet. The carbonation was low.
