    Blakish brown body with a massive brown cap floating on top..... it took the bartender 8min to pour it. Sweet fruity aroma with darkness, melted neopolitin ice cream, very mild ash. Aroma is good not great. Taste is the same but thicker, sweet melted icecream, bitter chocolate, and raspberry. Elements of ash, almost apple juice in the finish. Earthy! For 10.5 this is so light feeling. Burnt sugar starting to show up. Good and highly drinkable, but I’ll forget about in less then a week.

    500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 10.5%. Black colour, big to moderate brown head. Lovely roasty aroma, notes of roasted barley, coffee and dark chocolate, hints of dark syrup and liquorice. The flavour is intensely sweet and roasty, strong notes of dark syrup and brown sugar, dark malts, coffee, raisins and dark chocolate. Warming mouthfeel. Moderately bitter aftertaste. Good, but a bit too far out on the sweet and syrupy side to get a full score.

    Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a rather large off-white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sweet black chocolate is dominant with some light bitter notes. Taste is also dominated by some sweet black chocolate with some notes of roasted malt which provide light bitterness notes at the end. Creamy texture is interesting with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol but body is a bit thin for style.

    Bottled. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is osier, roasted malts, some burnt wet wood and mild coffee. Also some slight vanilla and nuts. Flavour is much the same, but the wooden notes are also slightly acidic. A quite pleasant brew.

    Pours out in an opaque black colour with a rich lasting beige foam. Rich roasted aroma with notes of anise, tar and dark dried fruits. Full chewy body with notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, anise, tar and black cherries. Long roasted and burnt bitter finish with notes of licorice smoke.
