4-pack collection of 2022, pouring a dark brown colour with some ruby highlights. The head is creamy-frothy, lighe mocha-coloured with good retention and some nice creamy lacing. Coffee nose with dark fruits (plums, prunes), chocolate malts and a touch of alcohol. The coffee is nicely blended in the taste, starting smoothly, then building up this bitterness, finishing on a dry run. The mouthfeel seems thick at first, but end up having the hops cut this. A smooth-starting coffee Imperial Stout... with a real dry-bitter finish.
