Part of their Collection 2022 4-pack, pouring the typical dark brown colour with ruby highlights. The head is big, frothy, kind of creamy with good retention and loads of lacing. The roasted malt base aromas are blended with the grinded coffee, chocolate malts and some mild fruitiness. The mouthfeel has pretty extreme bitterness and dryness in the end. The start is smooth, silky. If any fruitiness, it is quite mild. Not getting much kumquats, but a real bitter and dry finish.
