Close to black colour with a tad ruby-copper highlight, a big warm mocha-coloured frothy head, good retention and creamyish lacing. Roasted malt base aromas with some chocolate malt notes, boozy rye hints, with some nuttiness and coffee. A nice coffee, roasted barley base in the taste with a big, building bitterness in the end. Decent dryness lingers. A touch of fruitiness does come out in the nose, and rye spiciness in the flavours. A good Imperial Stout with a spicy rye-boozy touch.
