Growler from the brewery: Light yellow gold pour with slight white head and some lacing. Good carbonation. Soft aromas of sweet malts, very slight spices, and maybe just a hint of sweet potato but it was not overpowering at all. Creamy mouthfeel. Taste is smooth and very lightly sweet and spicy with a vanilla-type linger and smoothness possibly from the sweet potatoes. Interesting and smooth ale that we paired with several different types of appetizers at our BBQ.
