Pours a clear dark brown with a little head. Aroma of coffee was prevelant. The flavor was sweet/malty with a nice coffee undertone. A good stout, and I think one of Dempsey's best beers.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear black color that looked like a fountain cola. Coffee-like aroma. Flavor was dark and malty, with a coffee aftertaste. A good, but not great, stout.
