Of all the beers tried over the weekend, this one was the biggest surprise..I dont know how a beer so dark could be so devoid of flavor. i guess in a sense, that was quite an achievement. It tasted like it was watered down and just had no discernable attribute after you put it to your mouth.

One of 9 Delafield brews sampled recently with HeddyMuggz at the brewhaus. High points for appearance and aroma. Deep, dark, nearly opaque brown with good retention of a foamy, tan head. Chocolate and coffee notes in the aroma. But stop there... Flat, thin, and surprisingly absent of any flavor. Quite disappointing, after the initial impressions of appearance and fragrance.
