Wow seriously enjoyed after a midnight snow shoe up embelton mtn above heffley lake in kamloops, well lit by the moon and the snow, however second tasting, more critical this time, leaves a little but more to be desired. Average christmas style ale with a thinner mouth and more fruit, less bread and less yeast presence. mild mild mild hops, something greenish. perhaps faint lemongrass, not much there but whats there is good!

In a 22 oz bomber. Added to BP 24 Nov 2010. Not the biggest fan of this brewery, but always willing to givce them another shot at impressing. Poured a clear copper body under a minimal head of perhaps off-white. Aroma was faintly spiced, perhaps some citrus hints, bot not a lot going on. Flavour was better, nicer by far than the nose; after a few slugs, it and I were right with each other. Mouthfeel was indeed thick and smooth; an okay beer but certainly not a brilliant one.
