750 ml caged and corked bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original De Sutter chalice an unfiltered and strong hazy golden yellow coloured B A with a one finger light beige foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Some lacing. Many floating sediments. The aroma is faint aromatic hops, fruity, oranges, honey, spicy tones, cinnamom. The flavor is yeasty, moderate malty, strong herbal hops, spicy, cinnamom, orange peels and peppery, fruity, apples, oranges, mandarines. The mouthfeel is round and sparkling. The texture is a bit oily. This medium bodied Belgian Ale has a dry herbal bitter finish. The combination sparkling / herbal bitterness leads to a not so easy drinkable Belgian Ale.
